AND IT WENT FOR - 42 Bloomfield Avenue - GREENWOOD-COXWELL

Yesterday, I posted this 3+1 bedroom, 2 bathroom semi on a 20.75 x 120 foot lot at 42 Bloomfield Avenue.

It was a good house, but not overwhelmingly amazing.

It was listed at $759,900.

Because 2 other larger 4 bedroom semis at in the neighbourhood at 87 Ivy Avenue and 90 Ivy Avenue sold for $850,000 and $900,000 respectively, this would probably sell over ask, but not too much over.

I was thinking closer to $785,000.

Turns out (thanks to everyone for pointing it out) that this house had already sold the day before...

For $880,000.

That's $15,000 more than this larger 3+1 bedroom across the street at 35 Bloomfield...

And $125,000 more than the renovated house at 46 Bloomfield...

That's good news for those who bought a little farther east...

Like the people who bought 74 Bellhaven Road in Woodbine for $574,900...

Just give it a few more months.
