526 Anthony Drive - OAKVILLE
This is a 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom house on a 40.67 x 132.08 x 110 x 111.71 foot lot at 526 Anthony Drive in Old Oakville.
When I first saw the photos, the first thing that came to mind was this Niagara-on-the-Lake house (that I mentioned when I posted the house at 8080 Hornby Road in Halton Hills)...
That is (or was) owned by ex-Torontonians, Tamara Woolgar and Dave Suydam...
And was featured on Houzz in 2013.

You are thinking they look nothing alike, but here is the back of this house...
So, not exactly the same but there is a similar feel.
Inside, there is nothing the same except they both have this pig sculpture...
Or is this one a lamb?
Either way, both are great, open houses with lots of property, lots of space, and both are very family friendly.
This house is listed at $1,499,000.
Oakville isn't for everyone...
But considering that for $1.5, you get a large house with:
A formal living room
A formal dining room (or playroom)
A huge kitchen with a 15 ft island
A large family room
A mud room
A large basement with a bedroom, a rec room, and a games room
A 2 car garage
A pool sized lot
And a family friendly street...
This could probably be pretty tempting for someone not wanting to spend the same amount for a 3 bedroom semi in downtown Toronto.
This probably won't sit for long.
