PRICE DROP - 64 Hilton Avenue - CASA LOMA
The first time I posted this house on a 26.92 x 124.5 foot lot at 64 Hilton Avenue in Casa Loma was in December 2012.
I have posted it 5 times since.
The first post was for the first listing when the asking price was $724,900.
I thought it was a little high because the house was kind of creepy, and though this would sell as a teardown, the lot was a weird one being the only home on a block that was taken up otherwise by an elementary school.
It sold a little over a week later for $680,000.
Then it was back on the market a year and a half later...for $990,000. That's a 46% increase.
Suuuure.
Not surprisingly, it didn't sell and the price was change a couple of weeks later...
To $1,098,000. That's a 61.5% increase!!!
In January, it was back on the market for the same price...$1,098,000.
A couple of weeks later, I missed it but they dropped the price to $948,000.
By mid-February, it was back to $1,098,000.
The price has changed again.
This time it's a drop...
