AND IT WENT FOR - 422 Winona Drive - HUMEWOOD

On Thursday, I posted this 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house on a 25 x 105 foot lot at 422 Winona Drive in Humewood.

I wasn't crazy about the front, but the inside was very charming.  Other than the fact that the bathroom for the bedrooms was on the first floor and basically at the front door, it was a good small family house with a good sized lot and a 2 car garage

I mentioned that it reminded me of the house full of sheepskin at 7 East 21st Street in Vancouver...

While a reader pointed out that it reminded them of the Swansea house at 6 Runnymede Road...

That sold for $803,000 in June 2013.

I agree, but that house definitely had better curb appeal, and a bathroom on the second floor.

This house was listed at $629,000.

I thought it would sell closer to $725,000.

It sold in 2 days, the day after I posted it...

For $750,000.
