PRICE DROP - 114 Argyle Street - TRINITY-BELLWOODS
Earlier today, I posted a house in Parkdale at 78 Elm Grove Avenue...
I mentioned that it reminded me a lot of this house at 114 Argyle Street in Trinity-Bellwoods that I posted at the end of March.
They have similar interiors that are kind of new buildish. But Elm Grove was a 130 year old house (with less 'dark' finishes), whereas this house is a new build.
Though it is a good 4 bedroom, 5 bathroom detached house on a 20 x 139 foot lot with a detached garage, I didn't think the finishes of this house...
Would be what the typical buyer in this neighbourhood at this price range would be looking for...
Which is why I thought the $1,899,000 asking price would be really hard.
And it was. Turns out, a day after the Parkdale house was listed at $1,599,000...
This house dropped the price to...
$1,790,000.
I still think it's going to be tough.
