mishMASH PRICE DROP #2 - 3970 Ch. de la Côte-des-Neiges - MONTREAL
This is a beautiful, old house in Montreal.
When I first posted this 5 bedroom, 5 bathroom house at 3970 Ch. de la Côte-des-Neiges in November 2012, I pointed out that it had been on the market for a while, but most expensive houses in Westmount in Montreal sit on the market.
I thought this one would sit for longer because of the price...
$6,895,000...
And because of the renovation.
Now when I look at it, it reminds me of the large Rosedale house at 166 Crescent Road in Toronto...
That I posted when it was listed in October 2013 for $11,388,000. Though the house was beautiful, with the renovation that was done, it wasn't selling for that.
After several price drops, it finally sold for $7,888,000 in July 2015.
That house and this house had renovations that did not suit the house AT ALL.
I thought, like the house in Toronto, that this place was over priced based on the reno and would have several price drops.
In January 2015, I posted a drop for this place down to $5,750,000. I thought it would need another drop.
Sometime since I posted it a year ago, the price was dropped again...
To $4,695,000.
With that reno...in this house...it's going to need another drop.
