103 Victor Avenue - RIVERDALE
This is a 4+1 bedroom, 4 bathroom house on a 20 x 110 foot lot at 103 Victor Avenue in RIverdale.
It's a house that looked like this a little over a year ago...
And the second I saw the photos, I realized it was a flip done by the same people who flipped the Riverside house at 34 First Avenue...
It has the same print in the living room...
The same red console table and same dining room table and chairs...
But what I really stuck out was that this bedroom from 34 First Avenue...
Is pretty much the exact same bedroom as the one in this house...
(that cow print is so much better in a kid's room than in a kitchen!)
Overall, I like this house but there are a couple of things that I don't get.
I don't get why they had the powder room door open to the front door. Why not put the door on the bottom landing of the stairs?
And why is there not a door to the master bathroom on the third floor? Also, that toilet placement is kind of weird. If they were going to leave the bathroom with no door, why not put the toilet into one of those closets and make a wall of closets in the bedroom. There is space.
And it doesn't look like they lowered the basement floor. And they kind of cheaped out on the basement shower hardware.
Otherwise, it's a good house with lots of bedrooms and a good yard. Unfortunately, there is no parking.
The asking price is $1,488,000.
Considering the house across the street at 104 Victor Avenue...
Sold for $1,500,000 a year and a half ago and it was basically a 2+1 bedroom house...
This will probably sell closer to $1,650,000.
Too bad about the parking situation though.
