375 Ellis Park Road - SWANSEA (2 Comments) *UPDATE

This is a 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom house on a 42.45 x 102.30 foot lot at 375 Ellis Park Road in Swansea.

It is a house that looked like this before...

And like this when it was being renovated in 2015...

As far as the renovation goes, I really like it.  I am just not crazy about the wood ceiling in the kitchen...

There is just too much wood happening for me (would it be wrong to paint it white?).

Otherwise, it is a really good house and kind of reminds me of the house at 20 Bennington Heights that also had a treehouse feel...

I'm not sure what this house was listed at when it was last sold but after a full gut reno, the asking price is now $2,925,000.

Even without a yard, I don't see this sitting for long.

*UPDATE:  A day after I posted this house, blogTO posted it as their House of the Week.  And in that post, they mentioned that this house was designed by Core Architects, the same people behind the buildings at 95 Bathurst Street...

At 500 Wellington Street...

The building at Seventy5 Portland...

And the house at 7 Millington Street in Cabbagetown...

They like wood.
