PRICE DROP - 10 Highland Avenue - ROSEDALE (4 Comments)

Ok.   This house is kind of insane.

It kind of reminds me of what George and Laura Bush's White House residence looked like such as the Queen's Room from their time there...

Everything is grand and DONE.

It is a 6 bedroom, 11 bathroom, 17,000 square foot house with 16 parking spots on an almost 1 acre of land at 10 Highland Avenue.

And it is a house that I posted almost a year ago when the asking price was $27,500,000.

At that time, there were only 20 photos of the house.  Now, there are about 250 photos.  They are not all posted below though there are a lot (but if you want to see them all, click here).

It is home to Rob McEwen, founder and former chairman and CEO of Goldcorp Inc., and current chairman and CEO of McEwen Mining Inc. and Chairman of Lexam VG Cold Inc, and his wife, Cheryl McEwen, President and CEO of Make My Day Foods Inc.and cofounder with her husband of the McEwen Centre for Regenerative Medicine.

According to a 2012 article in the Globe and Mail,  the McEwens had donated up to $50 million by that point including a donation to the Toronto General Hospital that was substantial enough to name the new atrium of the hospital the R. R. McEwen Atrium...

It never sold and it has now had a price drop.  The new asking price is...

$22,000,000.

P.S.  Speaking of the Bush's house, have you ever seen their Texas ranch?  It's kind of amazing.
