34 First Avenue - RIVERSIDE, TORONTO (5 Comments)

Three years ago, I posted this 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom semi/row house on a 15 x 91 foot lot at 34 First Avenue.

It was a house that needed a lot of work as the kitchen looked like this...

And oen of the bedrooms looked like this...

It was listed at $529,000.

A little under a year later, it was back on the market with a full gut and they did a really good job.

A bathroom was added, the floors were replaced with white oak, and the kitchen was redone.

It was listed at $899,000.  I thought it would sell closer to $845,000.  It didn't sell right away and had a price drop to $879,000 a couple of weeks later.  It sold a little bit higher than I guessed.

It's now back on the market with staging that isn't as good as the original listing, but it is still a good house....

If you are okay with backing on to the stores on the south side of Gerrard.

It is now listed at $899,000.

Interesting.
