AND IT WENT FOR - 36 Hazelton Avenue #2A - YORKVILLE, TORONTO
In the summer of 2016, I posted this 2,700 square foot, 2 bedroom, 3 bathroom condo with 2 underground parking spots in a small building at 36 Hazelton Avenue in Yorkville.
The decor was giving me a recently moved out of the parent's house, first condo kind of vibe.
Kind of like this (language NSFW)…
Except there are 2 blankets that are about $2,000 each, and some pretty good furniture, a ping pong table...
And the fact that the asking price was $5,250,000.
So, probably not a first condo.
Turns out, it was probably the condo of one of the sons of chef Susur Lee, and designer Brenda Bent of Bent Gable Design.
It didn’t sell at the $5.25 price and in the following March, the price was dropped to $4,950,000.
But it turns out, it actually had 6 price drops with the first price actually being $5,950,000 in 2013 with the final price being dropped to $4,499,000 on Monday.
It finally has sold…
For $3,950,000.
