This is a 3 bedroom, 4 bathroom house with a detached garage on a 30 x 143 foot lot at 39 Tyrrel Avenue in the Wychwood/Hillcrest neighhourhood in Toronto.
It is a house that used to look like this before…
In 2015, it was fully renovated with new windows, floors, wiring, kitchen, and what looks like a family room extension in the back with a dug out basement below.
Overall, it’s a great house.
One thing I don’t understand though is why not add a second floor addition as well while they were at it? They could have made this a 4 bedroom house with another bathroom and proper closets in all the bedrooms…
Even though this is a great family house in a good location, another bedroom would make a BIG difference here.
But as I said, this is a still a good house. And the listing says that a nanny suite (or a room for a teen) could be configured in the basement. I’m not sure how it could be done without making a weird layout but I suppose it’s possible if your nanny (or teen) is okay with not showering.
It is listed at $1,995,000.
The only 3 bedroom thing and lack of bedroom closets and no basement shower could be an issue.
But this is a good house on a south facing lot with parking in a neighbourhood that hasn’t seen something like this in a while (or at least not that I have seen).
I don’t think it will sit for long and will probably sell over ask.
