PRICE DROP - 305 Crawford Street - TRINITY-BELLWOODS, TORONTO
In October, I posted this 4+1 bedroom, 5 bathroom house with a 2 car garage on a 22 x 112 foot lot at 305 Crawford Street in Trinity-Bellwoods/Little Italy in Toronto.
It was a great reno of a house that used to be a duplex and looked like this…
I basically liked everything about it but some readers had some complaints that there wasn’t a lot of counter space on either side of the stove and that the bathroom floors didn’t have in-floor heating. Both were things that I could overlook.
The house was done and done well and the garage was set up with gas, water, and electricity so it could be an additional living space for the house.
When I saw the photos, I thought the listing price was going to be $4,250,000. It was listed at $3,849,000.
Right before this house was on the market, a house at 254 Shaw Street had just sold for approximately $3,700,000…
And, in my opinion, this house was much better so I thought it was possible this was going to go $500,000 over that house.
But it didn’t. This house didn’t sell and is now back on the market…
For $3,549,000.
I’m still kind of shocked it didn’t sell in the fall.
