It’s been a while since I have posted a house in Cabbagetown so I decided I would post this 3+1 bedroom, 4 bathroom semi on a 17.5 x 85 foot lot at 45 Salisbury Avenue in Cabbagetown in Toronto.
It’s a house that used to look like this the last time it was listed in April 2019…
A year and a half ago.
Since then, a closet and doors have been added to what was a family room on the second floor making it the principal bedroom.
And instead of the third floor being the principal bedroom, it has turned into an office.
But why didn’t they keep the third floor room as the principal bedroom and make the 2 bedrooms on the second floor the offices because the main closet is on the third floor.
However you want to set it up, this is a move-in-ready house for a small family or for a couple as it is now .
In 2019, the asking price was $1,799,000 and it sold for $2,101,000.
Two weeks ago, it was back on the market for $1,995,000. I guess they didn’t get the price they wanted because, as of today, the price has been increased…
To $2,245,000.
P.S. This set up with the 2 offices is pretty convenient given that so many people are working from home these days. I wonder if it was set up like that before March or after.
