120 Shaftesbury Avenue - SUMMERHILL, TORONTO
Three years ago, I posted this 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom row house on a 13 x 36.90 foot lot at 120 Shaftesbury Avenue in Summerhill.
And no, that lot size is not a typo which makes this a row house on a 479.7 square foot lot (Correction: it’s apparently on a 49.64 irregular lot I guess with the shortest part being 36.90 feet. So, if my math is right, it’s a 645.32 foot lot).
It is NOT a big house but it is a good condo alternative.
Since the last sale, it doesn’t seem like much has changed, including the style of furniture, except for the shelves in the kitchen and that electric, wall-mounted fireplace. Otherwise, if you looked at the photos quickly , you might think this was still owned by the same owner.
But it is not. In 2017, it was listed at $1,198,000. I thought it would sell fast. It didn’t and had a price drop in May of 2018 to $1,180,000 when it finally sold for $1,155,001.
It is now back on the market for…
$1,385,000.
P.S. Speaking of fireplaces, a reader sent in an email wondering if I had any suggestions for a good electrical fireplace that looked natural. Any suggestions?
