In May, I posted this 3+1 bedroom, 4 bathroom semi with a 1 car garage on a 20.75 x 110 foot lot at 56 Lakeview Avenue in Dufferin Grove in Toronto.

It was a house that I had posted years earlier when it looked like this outside…

It was listed at $749,900 and sold for $930,000. It was then renovated and back on the market 6 years later for $2,498,000. It sold after 2 months on the market for $2,430,000.

It has since had a few changes such as the fireplace, the addition of some wallpaper in some of the rooms, and the built-in and new floors on the third floor. Plus, there was work done to the roofline, a new roof, and finished basement. And whatever work was done, one reader was so impressed that they emailed me to see if I knew who did the work (I don’t).

When it was listed in May, the initial asking price was $3,389,000. It didn’t sell and the price was increased a couple of weeks after that listing to $3,500,000.

Again, it didn’t sell but is back on the market.

The current asking price is now…

$3,350,000.
