AND IT WENT FOR - 228 Forest Hill Road - FOREST HILL

I first posted this 4+1 bedroom, 6 bathroom house on a 50 x 163 foot lot at 228 Forest Hill Road in mid-September.

I really liked it even thought the front looked like the interior might be stuffy.  But I thought the fact that there was no formal living might be a problem...

Especially at an asking price of $3,900,000.

I thought it would go down to $3,465,000.

It never sold and the price was dropped a month later to $3,695,000.

Clearly that living room was an issue because this house didn't sell and the price was dropped again to $3,550,000.

I still thought it was a little high.

This house just sold...

For $3,405,000.

Or $60,000 lower than my guess.

And almost $500,000 below the initial asking price.
