I love this place! The views are amazing and I love the simplicity of the interior. I am not crazy about the floor colour against the grey washed trim and ceilings. Maybe something more like this would be better....
Or do you think that would be grey washed wood overkill?
This 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom home sitting on almost 9 acres* is located on Bowen Island. I have posted a Bowen Island house before but this is sooo much better! I love everything about it, even the outdated kitchen and bathrooms. I am not necessarily loving the furniture or the tv but I have to admit...I have the exact same one. I know, time for a flat screen but the thing still works...
With the right furniture this place could be amazing!!
It is $5,000 LESS than the partially gutted but larger 2 bedroom Salt Spring Island house that I loved as well!
The asking price is $1,490,000.
*UPDATE: I stand corrected on the lot size as per the comment below...
the listing says it's a part of a 160 acre strata 1/18th to be exact, which could mean any size really. The lot size is listed at 73,616 if that's metres (which I highly doubt) squared it would be approximately 18.2 acres, I personally think it's sq.' which would = close to 1.7 acres.
Too much math.....
Whatever the size of the lot, the house is still amazing!
