I wouldn't say this is the fanciest house, but it works.
It looks like it might have had a recent freshen up with some paint and some new bedsreads from Merrimeko and Dwell Studios, but otherwise, this is a lived in house.
It's a good size. There are 5+1 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and it sits on a 40 x 86 foot lot just steps from Yonge Street.
The floors are in good shape, the kitchen and bathrooms are fine and the rooms are all a good size. Not huge but fine. There is no photo of the master bedroom so my guess is that it isn't huge. Assuming that is the case, it might make sense to get rid of one of the bedrooms and make a larger master bedroom with an ensuite.
The windows look like they might be originals so those probably aren't super efficient. But the basement has a good ceiling height and is large and bright.
Basically, this house has a lot of potential with some fix ups.
I'm not saying it could (or should) be a Komodo Kamada grill...
Or a pizza oven like the one at 406 Russell Hill Road...
But I do think this place could be a decent Weber grill...
It just needs a little fixing up to get it there.
This house is listed at $1,448,500.
It has a great location, there is lots of potential, it has a good sized yard though not very deep.
This house will sell fast and probably closer to $1,480,000...
If 481 Rushton Road in Humewood can sell for $1,135,000....
Or am I just being crazy?
Is this more of a $1,125,000 house?
