'The Offset House' is back!
It's a 3 bedroom, 4 bathroom house on a 20 x 150 foot lot at 337 Cleveland Street in Davisville Village and it was last on the market in October 2012 when the listing photo looked like this...
It was a house that was designed by Ja Architecture Studio and Arta Design and Build and was featured on other websites such as The Contemporist and Design Boom.
Before it was torn down and rebuilt, it looked like this in 2009...
It was listed at $599,000 but I am not sure what it sold for.
After it was rebuilt, the asking price was $1,625,000.
I thought it was more of a $1,425,000 house...maybe $1,455,000.
Then I thought about it and posted an update saying...
There is no way this can sell for $1,425,000. It is just too small. Once you get a couch in there, a few chairs, a coffee table, a dining table, this is a SMALL house. I am going with $1,325,000 now, even though I still think that is high.
By March 2013, it had a price drop and a new listing photo...
The asking price was down to $1,565,000. By July of the next year, it was down to $1,399,000.
It finally sold in September 2014 for $1,375,000.
It is now back on the market...
For $1,880,000.
It's still a good house...but it is also still only 3 bedrooms.
