SOLD - 229 Lytton Boulevard - LYTTON PARK

I don't get this house.

It's a 3 bedroom, 4 bathroom townhouse on a 23 x 103 foot lot at 229 Lytton Boulevard in Lytton Park.

And it this isn't the first time I have posted it.

I first posted this house at the end of 2012 when the listing photo looked like this...

And though overall it is a really good house, I don't get the living room situation...

Those are not french doors that lead out to the backyard.  Those are doors to the garage and the 'backyard' is up those stairs on top of the garage.

It gives me claustrophobia.

Sure, it is a good deck...

But I don't really get it.

Perhaps a shared underground garage could have been done instead?  I don't know.

But I might be the only one bothered by this garage situation because when I posted this house in 2012, it was listed at $2,697,000...

Which was $1,012,000 more than a row house a few doors down had sold for just a month earlier.

It didn't sell and was back on the market in 2016 for $3,380,000.

I'm pretty sure it never sold but last month, it was back on the market with new furniture.

The asking price was again $3,380,000.

It sold...

For $3,180,000.
