13 Mechanic Avenue - LITTLE PORTUGAL, TORONTO (1 Comment) *UPDATE*
The second I saw this 3+1 bedroom, 4 bathroom house with 1 parking spot on an 18 x 76 foot lot at 13 Mechanic Avenue in Little Portugal, Toronto...
I thought of the house that I posted in 2012 at 154 Rhodes Avenue...
This is basically the exact same house on the outside but with a third floor.
And unsurprisingly, both houses were done by the same people, architects Kyra Clarkson and Christopher Glaisek of MODERNest (and I am assuming built by The Fifth Wall like most of their other projects).
According to the Globe and Mail article written in 2012 about the house at 154 Rhodes Avenue, Clarkson and Glaisek are 'partners in life and art since their graduate-school days at Yale'. Clarkson also has a separate firm that focus on renovations called Kyra Clarkson Architect that is run out of their house that looks like this...

Now, they are big and small version of each other.
In 2012, the house at 154 Rhodes Avenue was listed at $699,000 with a price increase to $825,000.
I'm not sure what it sold for but 6 years later and on the other side of the city, a similar house with a third floor at 13 Mechanic Avenue is now listed at...
$1,950,000.
That tiny 'dining room' might be a problem at that price.
UPDATE: Despite this house looking A LOT like the house at 154 Rhodes, this house was in fact NOT done by architects Kyra Clarkson and Christopher Glaisek of MODERNest.
I am not sure who did it but clearly they like the MODERNest style.
