AND IT WENT FOR - 41 Northcote Avenue - BEACONSFIELD VILLAGE, TORONTO
At the end of January, I posted this 4+1 bedroom, 5 bathroom rebuild with a detached 2 car garageon a 19.82 x 123 foot lot at 41 Northcote Avenue in Beaconsfield Village in Toronto.
It was a house that used to look like this…
It was completely redone and the renovation was done by Rick Deol of BuildSimple with the architecture done by Natalie Leonard from Passive Design Solutions and Jonathan Hatch of Hatch Designs, the same person behind the Kingsway house at 72 Belvedere Boulevard…
I wasn’t crazy about some of the tile choices and would have preferred the brick wall in the kitchen if it were white (an easy change)…
And I thought the layout with what was an open ensuite on the third floor that was to be shared with another bedroom with no bathroom a little odd (but again, that would be an easy change with the addition of a door and a wall).
But overall, it was a great house (if you were good with the backyard situation).
The asking price was $2,869,000.
It sold after a couple of weeks on the market…
For $2,775,000.
