This is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom semi on an 18.67 x 120 foot lot at 115 Ivy Avenue in the Greenwood-Coxwell neighbourhood in Toronto.

It’s located across the street from the semis I posted years ago at 112 Ivy Avenue…

And 114 Ivy Avenue…

Both of those house had just been renovated and were your typical modern wide plank wood floor, white kitchen, white wall, and black window houses.

And I liked them both.

This house is a little more traditional (is that the right word?) with it’s decor and colours but it has a lot of personality. And if you are more into the style of the other houses, some paint and different furniture could change the feel.

Unlike the other houses, it isn’t fully open on the first floor but it feels airy. And there is that family room at the back with the glass that brings in a lot of light (but is it freezing?). The kitchen looks fairly new and could look good with the current style of furniture or something like the other houses.

Upstairs, the bedrooms are a good size with a huge bathroom at the back.

I’m not sure what is going on in the third floor and, according to the listing, the basement is unfinished.

But overall, this is a really good house that could look great with personality as it does now or with more a Pintrest-y look.

The houses at 112 and 114 Ivy Avenue were listed at $899,900 and $899,000 respectively. They sold for $912,000 and $959,000.

Seven years later, this house is listed at…

$1,089,000.

It may not have a finished basement but this is going over for sure.
