This Minimalist Japanese Conversion Was Meticulously Designed By The Award Winning Architect Seller
At first, I thought it might be DRM Development Group who have a similar-ish looking house on their site…
The kitchen is similar with the same light above the dining table that is in the kitchen.
But there is no photo of this house on their site though I did recognize this…
It was from a house I posted at 727 Sammon Avenue in East York…
In that post, I said…
This house was done by Ahren Cadieux of New Republic Design house (can't find a website) and by architect, Will Hudson of Hudson Architecture.
So, I searched again and found New Reuplic Design house and they do have a site. I’m not sure what they do because the site links to a photo of Drake but coincidentally enough, their office is the same as DRM Develpment Group.
And when you scroll through the site, there is this video…
It’s titled ‘Hudson Architecture’.
But with a little more googling, I discovered that the architect seller was Gregory Rubin, the owner of poiesis architecture.
So, maybe he worked with the above architects before starting his own firm.
Either way, you can see the similarity of the clean white kitchen in the Sammon house and this house. And like that house, this house has been transformed from dark and cramped…
To this bright, open space.
When it was last on the market in 2010, the asking price was $565,000 and sold for $536,000.
After a full reno, it is now listed at $1,699,000.
P.S. Love the herb rack idea.
