AND IT WENT FOR - 137 Alcorn Avenue - SUMMERHILL, TORONTO

Last week, I posted this 2+1 bedroom, 4 bathroom house with a garage on a 34 x 60 foot lot at 137 Alcorn Avenue in Summerhill in Toronto.

It was a house that was last listed in 2006 when it looked like this…

And it was a house I remembered well because, at the time, I thought the price was crazy. It was listed at $800,000 and sold for $975,000.

It has since been completely redone and for the most part, I really liked it. But I did find it dark with the dark floors and dark wood and would prefer to go with white oak and perhaps paint the beams.

Otherwise, it was a great, move-in-ready house.

This time around, it was listed at $3,150,000 and this time, I didn’t think the price was so crazy given the current market.

It took more than a week to sell but it just sold…

For $3,170,000.
