AND IT WENT FOR - 29 Tiverton Avenue - RIVERSIDE, TORONTO

Last month, I posted this 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom semi with 2 parking spots on an 18.5 x 100 foot lot at 29 Tiverton Avenue in Riverside in Toronto.

It was a house that showed really well.

It had last been listed in 2007 when it looked like this…

It was listed for $429,900 and sold for $475,000.

Since then, the changes that I could see were that the kitchen had been redone with the addition of a desk in the dining room area. The floors had been lightened and I assumed both bathrooms were redone. And they added a fence in the backyard.

It was listed at $1,298,000.

I thought that if someone didn’t have a problem with the train being essentially in the backyard, I didn’t think this would sit for long.

It sold the following week…

For $1,602,000.
