A few weeks ago, I posted this 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom house with 1 garage and 2 parking spots on a 27.25 x 80.15 lot at 39 Rathnelly Avenue in the Rathnelly neighbourhood in Toronto.
It was a house located across the street from the 2+1 bedroom, 3 bathroom house at 218 Cottingham Street…
The interiors were very similar and I thought at first that this house was a renovated version of that house. Instead, they are neighbours.
The Cottingham house was listed years ago for $1,495,000. I thought it would sell closer to $1,650,000. It sold for $1,490,000. In 2019, it was back on the market for $2,499,000. It sold for $2,550,000.
Two years later, this house was on the market for $3,295,000.
It just sold…
For $3,150,000.
