AND IT WENT FOR - 25 Maclennan Avenue - ROSEDALE, TORONTO

In May, I posted this 3 bedroom, 4 bathroom house on a 40 x 100 foot lot at 25 Maclennan Avenue in Rosedale in Toronto.

It was a house that I had initially posted when it was listed after being owned by Michelle Lloyd of Lloyd Ralphs Design, the design firm run by Lloyd and Christine Ralphs, both former v.p. of design at Club Monaco.

While it was well done then, after it was purchased in 2015 for $2,495,000, it was completely redone and was back on the market again in 2018.

And while it was REALLY well done…

$4,650,000!?!?!

I thought that was crazy but it ended up selling for asking.

Three years later, it was back on the market in May with a LOT of the same furniture. Even some of the bedding was the same.

The new asking price was $4,650,000. The same price it sold for in 2018!?!

Considering this was more like a 2+1 bedroom house (the third bedroom is really small), I thought perhaps it was still a little high…unless they threw in the furniture again.

It sold in 4 days…

For $4,951,000.
