PRICE DROP - 171 Willow Avenue - BEACHES, TORONTO

In September 2019, I posted this 4 bedroom, 5 bathroom house with a 1 car garage on a 24.92 x 118.5 foot lot at 171 Willow Avenue in the Beaches in Toronto.

It was a house I had posted many times in the past when it was a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom house on a 24.92 x 118.5 foot lot. The first time was in 2014 when it looked like this…

In 2014, it was listed at $779,000 and sold for $790,000. I thought it would be torn down but it wasn’t and 2 years later, it was back on the market for $979,000. It ultimately sold for $1,060,000.

it was rebuilt with a third storey added and the whole thing basically gutted but the shell. And for the most part, I liked it.

The asking price was $2,890,000.

It didn’t sell and the price was dropped to $2,399,999. Again, it didn’t sell and the price was increased to $2,749,000. Seven months later it was increased again to $2,999,900.

It didn’t sell in September and 6 months later, it is back on the market with a drop…

To $2,499,000.

Maybe 5th time’s the charm.
