72 Alcina Avenue - WYCHWOOD, TORONTO
Years ago, I posted this 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom detached house on a 20 x 140 foot lot with a detached garage at 72 Alcina Avenue in Wychwood in Toronto.
At the time, I had never been to New Orleans but that is the first thing I thought when I saw it. I have since been and it does resemble the architecture there. But as I said in 2015 when this house was last listed, I also feel this also resembles the house at 33 Lowther Avenue...
This wasn’t a big house with only 2 bedrooms but it was in a good neighbourhood on a good street.
It was listed at $975,000 which I thought might have been a little high. It sold for $1,232,000.
It is now back on the market basically looking the exact same. But according to this listing, the previous owners from 2015 had pre-approved plans for a new house (apparently the permits have expired).
It is now back on the market for…
$1,498,000.
I’m guessing this will sell fast.
