AND IT WENT FOR - 72 Alcina Avenue - WYCHWOOD, TORONTO

Last week, I posted this 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom detached house on a 20 x 140 foot lot with a detached garage at 72 Alcina Avenue in Wychwood in Toronto.

It was a house I had posted in the past when it was for sale for $975,000. I thought that might be a little high but apparently the owners had permits and drawings for a larger house.

It sold for $1,232,000.

Last week, it came back on the market again but it looked exactly the same. Where was the new house? According to a couple of readers, apparently the foundation had issues so maybe that stopped them from building? I don’t know.

But when this came on the market last week, I thought this would sell fast.

It was listed for $1,498,000. It sold after 1 day on the market…

For $1,538,072.
