90 Roxborough Street East - ROSEDALE (2 Comments)
In September 2014, I posted this 4 bedroom, 5 bathroom house on a 64.17 x 125.42 foot lot at 90 Roxborough Street East in South Rosedale.
It was a great looking house on the outside and just as good on the inside.
The interior was designed by Sloan Mauran, the former owner and designer of the house at 297 Russell Hill Road in Forest Hill the house at 51 Bernard Avenue in the Annex.
It was a lot of white walls except for the living room and the purple bedroom.
Now, it is VERY colourful.
When I posted it in September 2014, it had already been on the market since June of that year. I had wanted to post it then but it came and went to fast. The asking price was $5,560,000.
When it came back on the market 3 months later, the asking price was the same.
I thought it was possible it could sell for ask but it was only 4 bedrooms.
In October 2014, the price was dropped to $5,450,000. A few weeks later, it was down to $5,250,000.
It sold for in January 2015 for $5,060,000.
With little changes that I can see other than some paint and a different furniture layout, the new asking price is $6,995,000.
Ummm.....$2 million in 2 years!?! Or a 38% increase in 2 years!?!
That seems like a LOT.
