PRINCE'S FORMER HOUSE GETS RELISTED BEFORE HIS BIRTHDAY (1 Comment)
At the end of 2014, I posted this 3+1 bedroom, 10 bathroom, 14,280 square foot house on a 280.88 x 305.50 foot lot at 61 The Bridle Path.
It was sent in by a reader saying I might 'know' the owner of this house. Then I saw that the listing said...
'Formerly Owned By Acclaimed International Music Celebrity!'
And the purple basement…
And it turns out, it was the former home of Prince…
He lived here from 2001 to 2006 when he was married to Torontonian Menuela Testolini.
After his death in 2016, it was still sitting on the market for $12,788,000. But I soon after that, it had a $5 million increase to To $17,880,000.
In April of 2018, it had a drop to $16,900,000. By August, it was up to $16,910,000. At the end of November of 2019, it was back on the market again for $16,880,000.
As of Friday, it was relisted for $16,880,000.
And considering that yesterday was Prince’s birthday…
