WTAF!?!
What is going on with this place!?! This place has been listed for more than 5 years!
I first posted this 4+2 bedroom, 4 bathroom house with a detached garage on a 45 x 137 foot lot at 42 Delaware Avenue in Dufferin Grove in January 2013.
It was a sister house to the house in Rosedale at 176 Crescent Road...
But it wasn't exactly in the same state as that house that was fully renovated in 2000 after 'being owned by a charity' (it has since been renovated again).
This house was a bed and breakfast called the Ashleigh Heritage Home and it looked like this on the inside...
It needed work.
It was initially listed at $1,950,000. I thought it would be better priced around $1,450,000...maybe $1,550,000.
It didn't sell and subsequently had a bunch of price changes. Here is the history...
In October 2013, the price was increased to $2,250,000
Then it was reduced in March 2014 to $2,150,000.
And again in April 2014 to $1,950,000.
Then in December 2014, the price was increased again to $2,350,000.
In April 2016, it had another price increase to $2,850,000
In March 2017, it had ANOTHER price increase to $2,950,000.
Well...
I just noticed it has now had a FIFTH price increase.
I am not sure when it happened but this house is now priced at...
$3,450,000.
